When do I use the drop shot rig?

The drop shot rig is perfect for precise fishing in spots where fish are suspected. With gentle twitches, the bait is made to dance almost in place, ideal for vertical fishing and larger areas. It is especially effective when you want to present the bait for a long time in one spot and during phases when the bait is not actively animated.

💡 JAEGER Tip: Make sure to lead the bait slowly and with short movements. You often achieve the best results when you animate the bait with only slight vibrations.
