The Deviant is a bulky pike jerkbait with imposing flat sides that move a very large volume of water while producing large flashes of light capable of attracting the attention of predators from a distance. This is a lure that can be worked at different retrieval speeds and animations. When retrieved in a straight line it has an attractive S-shaped swimming action, but it can also be animated with a series of twitches that give it a much more erratic swimming action with large lateral deviations. The lure's large internal balls give it a particularly deep sound, ideal for stimulating predator aggression. What's more, its density and internal mass transfer mean that it can be catapulted very far. An attachment point under the throat allows you to add extra ballast for a deeper retrieve.
